# Openpanel and savepanel

Is it possible to set both a default filename as well as set the list of extensions in `openpanel` and `savepanel`?

The 3D Export dialog sets both the filename, andd provides a list of types:

Hmm… might we have a flaw in the API here… I’d have to dig into how the parsing of the string is done.

Being able to provide default name and file filter is impossible due to the current implementation. But that text mangling is odd and not expected! :s
