I am still getting used to Sketch Up and i wanted to make a cutlist using the OpenCutList extension for an upcoming project i have. However i’m running into and issue where i make a component, it shows up on make components list, but when i go to add a material i get a error message saying “the target object is not a part”.
When i make a copy of that component, Im able to change the texture no problem and i’m just curious as to why this issue is happening when both objects are components and OpenCutlist specifically state to use components.
