Oops, what did I do thiss time?

The Picture kind of tells it all. I’m using Sketchup Make.

It’s called clipping, you can change to perspective view to see if it is improved.

or use zoom extent (maj + Z)

Do your modeling with the camera set to Perspective. That will prevent you from getting the camera placed badly.

Thanks guys, last time I used SU I must have printed something and left thee camera in Parallel Perspective.

I changed it to Perspective then back to Parallel Perspective and could not reproduce the picture I attached?

Once you fixed the camera by changing to perspective, the clipping won’t occur again unless you do something that moves the camera into the object. That is a common issue in parallel projection because it doesn’t move the camera when zooming, it just scales the view. Save parallel for showing orthographic presentations of a finished model.

Thanks, I’ve made a note to change the camera back after printing 1:1

Are you still using sketchup make? I remember that on version 2022 one of the new features was improvements with the clipping.
