i want to make a library to cut it on my cnc router. where i have the shelves i want to put in some notches to fit accurately after i cut. what ways are there?
Which version of SketchUp are you really using? You put “3d” in your forum profile which doesn’t tell us anything useful since every version of SketchUp is a 3D modeler. Please correct your forum profile so it is helpful.
If I were wanting to add dadoes for shelves I would first make the shelve components the full length I need them to be so they extend into the vertical divider components. Then I would use Trim from Eneroth Solid Tools to make the shelves cut the dadoes. Quick and easy with no layout required.
