While working in Sketchup 2018 PRO , if I use the material search in a local file stored in my HD nothing is visible. I have to go outside of Sketchup and pull up the desired file and copy paste into the SU project I am working on at the time
What material search are you talking about? I’ve never seen such a feature.
In the materials tray Hit “open or create a collection” I goto a local folder that holds all the materials I created and nothing is visible. Same problem with the components tray. None of the custom components I created are visible.
You need to select a folder, not an individual material or model file. The folder selection panel only shows folders because it doesn’t allow you to select anything but folders.
