No dog to walk, still

This Sunday I wanted to go out again for a walk, a nice sunny day although a lot of wind.
Where normally sometimes there will be busses with tourists from many countries, (many from China and Japan) every day of the week, now there were hardly any people. And no tourists at all.
Nice opportunity to take some (mobile phone) pictures.

And what does the structure inside look like:

This windmill at North Leverton is not too far away from me and still milling flour to this day by the look of things. I remember about 23 years ago having a school trip there. It were very impressive to see working and of course, we all had to take a bag of flour home for our mums.

Having lived and worked in Emsland (Papenburg DE), Gronigen and Eemshaven for extended periods over more than a decade I would have been shocked to hear it wasn’t windy.

Same procedure today, different location.
I’m impressed by how skilled nature is to make these sculptures (with a little help from humans).

These willows will be full of new branches by the end of summer.
