New user - Cabinet Maker plugin

Hi everyone, first post here and a real newbie, sorry.
I’ve purchased the extension, Cabinet Maker 32 (GK cabinet maker) and I keep getting a pop up box stating, ‘Cannot find material named xxxxx’.
Do I need to somehow configure sketchup and sync with CM somehow?
