Purchased a new Pro subscription, payment went through etc. a week and a half later I still cannot use it due to a hold? Has anyone experienced this? Starting to think I was scammed….
Who did you purchase the subscription from? What payment method did you use?
Why SketchUp 2025 and not SketchUp 2026 which is the current version?
Ordered on Trimble website was an annual Pro subscription, most current I assume.
Payment method was cc as per normal.
Most current is SketchUp 2026.
Is it possible your credit card company has put a hold on the charge for some reason? Have you tried contacting Customer Support. If not, submit a ticket.
I have contacted Sketchup support and all that has been given are apologies for how long it is taking. I do want to know is the hold just a manpower issue? Or is it something else?
Not really getting answers either way
This is a user forum. We can’t answer that. The Customer Support folks would be able to do that but they are too busy helping customers to have much to do with this forum. Check with the card issuer to see if they have put a hold on the payment. Once Trimble has received payment it should all be automatic.
Thanks for the advice, all seems a bit off - was curious if anyone else has had issues like this before. All seems to be ok as far as payment so, will just wait.
What happens if you open SketchUp and sign in with the email address and password you used when you purchased the subscription?
Make sure you installed SketchUp correctly. That requires right clicking on the downloaded installer and selecting Run as administrator.
