New installation of sketchup 2015 on a different laptop

Have used Sletchup extensively in the past but not for a couple of years. Reinstalled 2015 and unable to get any of the tools to draw anything. Probably there is a simple and obvious solution. Would be grateful for any advice

Try to toggle “Use fast feedback”. (After toggle restart SU)

and/or update your graphics card driver.

hello, what tools are you talking about ? try going to view > toolbars and check ‘getting started’ or ‘large toolbar’
