New Graphics Engine breaks nested Faceme

A while ago I discovered a neat parlor trick by nesting a Faceme component with the blue axis horizontal inside another Faceme component with the usual blue axis up. I know it was probably never conceived to be used that way but is was a neat trick. I just discovered that the New Graphics engine seems to break the behavior of the inner one. After orbiting, the inner one doesn’t reorient correctly until you happen to select the component, and then suddenly gets with the program and adjusts to the camera. A bug worth pursuing, of just not important enough?

Here’s an example file from 2017. It’s a neutral grey/grey scale test card for rendering. You want it always pointing at the camera no mater where it’s located.
