I feel the need to share some good news today: my daughter gave birth to my first grandchild, an adorable baby girl! My wife and I visited with the new family in the hospital this evening. Fantastic! Baby is very healthy, though Mom will need to get some strength back for a couple of days. The new Dad is doing well - as are us new grandparents.

Congratulations. Personally I have been blessed with 4 lovely granddaughters, 2 of which are under 2. Grand dads must spoil them - it is the law!
