No, this isn’t a paid ad, and it’s not a promotional price for the extensions either.
We are just highlighting some of the new extensions that are currently for sale on Extension Warehouse. Free extensions haven’t been included in this message otherwise the list would be too long.
I find German more difficult than English, but I have such good colleagues here that they immediately switch to English when I’m around. So my laziness about learning a German can be satisfied…
Well, in my native language there are dozen times as many of these.
Stick with it, it takes time. 10 years married to a German in Germany and even when I want to say at breakfast ‘Reich mir bitte die Butter, Liebling.’ I still come out with ‘You’ve ruined my life you …’
This is a problem in Zürich. I always try to stay in German though when out and about. Even if it is bad.
I noticed a difference in reaction though when I switched from saying ‘Ich spreche ein bisschen Deutsch’ to ‘Ich lerne immer noch Deutsch, können Sie langsam sprechen?’
Schwyzertütsch is a different language. I have some German but i couldn’t understand a word when I heard a colleague who had studied at ETH Zürich speak “german”.
To be honest, it feels a bit odd seeing the SketchUp team promote plugins when many developers are still waiting for their plugin submissions to be reviewed and approved.
