This is the injector cover for an ALCo Locomotive Diesel Engine. It’s a compound curve and not uniform in contour (or I would have used Follow Me or Fredo Curve). I don’t know how to set it up. Any help?Injector Cover Challenge.skp (2.2 MB)

That’s just what I’m looking for. I wouldn’t have thought about working with the bottom hollowed out. This entire assembly will be 3D printed So it will have to be a solid at some point. When printed it will look something like this… a different kind of engine.
Why does it work better as a hollow object than a solid?
