Need installer for Classic 2020/2021

I have a perpetual license for Classic 2020. When I contacted support for a download link to the installer, they asked me to come here and ask nicely because ‘their policy is to not provide installers for unsupported versions’. Is anyone here able to help?

Also, is this even legal? And legality aside I can’t see how it’s not plainly unethical to offer for sale a ‘perpetual license’ to a software program but refuse to provide the means for your customers to exercise that license beyond a three-year period.

I agree. I tried to get Word 5.0 for DOS recently, but Microsoft refused—even though I bought a perpetual licence in 1990.

I think WordPerfect was better. Most things added to word processors since the DOS days are just junk.

Good catch - I forgot it was called WordPerfect not Word, and it wasn’t even a Microsoft program
