Need help with woodworking plans

I’m making this odd pyramid shape for a woodworking project. I will be using 19mm MDF for the installation, but I am not able to figure out how to cut the bevels of the different pieces. How to go about this?

Instead of sharing a .dae file, share the .skp file.

Here it is!

I edited each object and gave it the 19mm thickness you want. Then using the neighboring objects I traced where they intersected to figure out the bevels and erase the waste. I did convert the groups to components and, since the two triangular ones on each side are symmetrical, I use Flip/Copy to copy the left hand ones to make the right side. The other thing I did is align the component axes so that if you run a cutlist for the model you’ll get useful dimensions.

Perfect! Thank you so much

Downloaded an extension called “Angular Extension 2” and measured all the bevels. Now off to make some cuts…

I’m glad that worked for you. What are you making?

@DaveR Sorry for late reply, wanted to get some photos. I’m building a home theater. Behind the drywall there are backer-boxes for loudspeakers. I wanted them angled towards the listener to avoid getting too far off-axis. Built 4 of the plans you made and attached them yesterday. Really appreciate the help

(The brown stuff on the inside corners is just a mix of wood glue and saw dust that i applied to strengthen the structure. Don’t really think it was necessary though)

Cool! Nice work. Thanks for the pictures. It’s always good to see how SketchUp models get turned into reality.
