i’m working on multiple school projects, and accidentally clicked on a past file, I’m not sure if that’s what caused the issue but now both new and old files seem to just open and crash immediately. The screenshot above doesn’t reveal anything, even if you post the same thing in different threads - which is against the [forum rules](https://forums.sketchup.com/guidelines). When SketchUp crashes you see Bug Splat screen, you need to Send Error Report you filled up with proper data and note the #number that appears in the web browser and post that #number here. Then the staff has a chance to look into your specific case. ---

SketchUp 2026.0.429 works perfectly on “new graphics engine”. Updating to 2026.1.256 causes instant crash on Qt6Core.dll when creating or opening any file. Machine: Laptop Avell, NVIDIA RTX 4060 (Driver 596.36), Hybrid GPU setup Sketchup 2026.1.256 - Classic graphics engine - works perfectly
