Any time I try to use the drag box or if I try to click on an image my computer freezes up for 20-13 seconds. Everything else seems to be ok, Any ideas out there?
Most commonly this indicates a problem with your graphics card and/or its drivers. You can try updating the drivers and see if that would help. It would be helpful for us to know what graphics card your computer has, too.
Also try going to Window>Preferences>OpenGL and turning off Use Fast Feedback.
Its a built in Intel HD card. I tried turning off Fast Feedback but that didn’t seem to make a difference
Integrated GPUs, especially Intel cards are known to be lacking in adequate OpenGL support which is required for Sketchup. windows frequently pushes bad graphics driver update which also cause problems. You might go to the Intel site and download their latest drivers to install. See if that helps. If not, you may be looking at getting a new GPU or even computer.
Or if it’s a new install, perhaps you didn’t install it using install as administrator?
