# Multiple instances of Sketchup free

I sometimes open multiple instances of sketchup to copy models or parts of models or components into new models using ctrl+c, alt+tab, ctrl+v. It doesn’t look like this is happening in Free online SU, It doesn’t look like copying and pasting works even manually. Is there a method to copy/paste between models?

Yes, I tried that too with the same experience. I mentioned it somewhere (probably under SU for Schools) and SU team acknowledged they’re aware.

Yes, this is correct- we do not support copy/paste between browser tabs at this time.
