I am working with multiple gaussian splats in one model (8). I imported the splats from Scaniverse as spz files. I have found that after 5 or 6 the visibility of the splats starts to disappear. Only the most recent splats are visible and the others disappear almost entirely. I’ve tried toggling visibility in the splat manager, toggling display mode (rendering, modeling, point cloud), and restarting sketchup but they remain invisible. Just their bounding boxes are visible.
I run an NVIDIA GeForce RTX5070 with 12GB dedicated RAM and updated software.
Is there a limit to how many splats can be loaded into one model?

Is there another way to force a refresh of visibility for splats?

Hi,
I tried to reproduce your issue and could not.
There a hard limit on the number of GS file but it’s 50 so it should not be an issue in your case.
Could you share with me your files (skp and spz) so that I can try to reproduce ?
Either on the forum or with my Trimble email ([yohann\_salaun@trimble.com](mailto:yohann_salaun@trimble.com))
Best,
YS

thanks for your reply. I’m not sure I can share the file on email as the skp is 34mb and each spz is 10-20mb. All up it’s 145mb.

Let me see if I can create a shareable folder on my google drive.

Could also try something like WeTransfer.
