Multiple crashes in Layout

I am experiencing multiple crashes in Layout. I created a new Scrapbook of electrical symbols and it may be due to the smaller fonts I added. Fonts are 4 to 6 points. The symbols are for switches and simply the letter S with a line through. The smaller fonts are 3 and 4 for w3-way and 4-way switches.

Anyone experience anything likes this?

I am researching the issue and I will follow with files when I have isolated the problem SU and LO files.
