I am running SketchUp 2024 on a Laptop hooked up to 2 identical displays. I typically have Layout Open on one Display, SketchUp on the other, with e-mail or reference documents open on the laptop display. The laptop has two graphics cards which I have set up in the display settings to default to the NVIDIA GeForce MX250 for both SketchUp and Layout.
My models tend to get bulky after a while so the sync between SketchUp and Layout gets slow and painful. Recently I have noticed that if I want to make the sync or save changing to display on “PC Screen Only” vs “Extended” speeds along the process noticeably.
I am looking for more optimization if anyone has similar experiences and tricks.
