Moving tray boxes as "tear of"

First ever post.
Retired engineer and really loving ShetchUp.
Anyway…is there a way to “tear off” a box like “outliner” into my screen so I can see it easier while I work?

Welcome.

You can put Outliner in its own tray and then move that tray to where you’d like it.

Start with Window>New Tray. Add the window you want to see in it. Then you can drag the tray tab at the bottom
and move that tray into place…
