More Proof that you can't win going up against Mother Nature

I think this is the first Time I’ve seen this Rock formation up against an Oceans Background.

These are on the South Island of New Zealand.

I don’t know if we have any New Zealand SketchUp users here?

Are those stromatolites?

Edit: Their website says, “they were formed 30 million years ago from minute fragments of dead marine creatures and plants landed on the seabed about 2 km below the surface. Immense water pressure caused the fragments to solidify in hard and soft layers. Gradually seismic action lifted the limestone above the seabed. Mildly acidic rain, wind and seawater sculpted the bizarre shapes.”
