Models won't upload to warehouse

Ah, that’s a relief. 17 and later should be working. Thanks Jim!

On the browser part, we have some internal folks that can repro, but I can’t using Win7 or Win10 with Chrome 76. Are you still really Win7? We’ll continue efforting.

For me it started yesterday; Getting that busted “opps” auto error msg, uploading via web-interface drop option in the 3DW … on Win10, Chrome 76.0 [got Opera and Yandex too, hadnt tried them] and use a variety of versions [SU6 to 201*s and web] … jfyi

[edit] Did just upload it into the web app, then transferred it to the warehouse, so that is the current workaround, for me … but seems as if direct upload to the 3DW is a no go for now

Yep. Still using Windows 7 Professional (SP1). Hasn’t rusted a bit

I just confirmed that I still can’t upload using Chrome.

Try a private window and login. Does that work?

I signed out of my normal Chrome window and signed back in again in a private window. Same problem. I also tried it with Firefox developer edition and it just sat there saying “Uploading” with the progress bar at about 33%. I waited for thirty minutes before killing the browser.

Still cannot upload on the 3DW page also myself

Workarounds:. Open in SketchUp client. Or upload (if it works - I can’t test) to app. SketchUp.com and save to warehouse.

We have a fix in the works for certain Windows OS versions & browsers in the works. I did test and verify at work this morning that IF you don’t have a recent SketchUp with a reasonable web UI on the machine you want to upload from, but you have the models you want to upload there, you CAN upload them to the free, web version and save to 3D Warehouse from there. Remember that next time you’re in a pinch.

We’ll post here when we push the fix.

OK, we’ve fixed the issue for all supported Win browsers, except Edge. If that’s your only browser on Windows, the workarounds above apply for now. 1. Use SketchUp. 2. Upload in Edge to SketchUp Free, then save to 3D Warehouse.

Works for me here, now, John. Thanks.

It’s working for me now.

If you want to use Edge, the new beta of Edge uses Chromium, and runs on Mac or PC, and fixes the upload issue: https://www.microsoftedgeinsider.com/

hi there, my sketch up 17 warehouse 3d is not working and coming up blank, yet it was working perfectly until 20 minutes ago. Im currently a university student and may be eligible for sketch up pro. should I wait a while before trying again or just upgrade?

Try again. We pushed an update today and you may have hit it just as it was happening.

When I try to upload a model, it says the file is too big and won’t upload even though it is exactly the same size as my last two models that uploaded just fine so I don’t understand why it won’t do it.

I’m trying to upload a teddy bear and it keeps saying the file is too big. It worked once but when I try to update it, it says the file is too big. I don’t why this keeps happening.

How big is the file?

I am able to do upload twice but I’m not able to make any changes to it
