I am trying to work out the best way of modelling the scallop feature shown on the right of the image.
It is intended to sit in the alvove at the top.
I have modelled the inner wall of the alcove with solid tools and consider doing the same for this but wonder whether there is a better workflow that someone might recommend?
It seems like there may be a rotated repeated shape that could do the trick?
I was going to make a vid showing how, but it’s too hot.

Not much has change since it was written, although weld is a native feature these days. Also she got Tig’s name wrong, called him TGI, but Extrude tools is still available from Sketchucation.
