Is there a shortcut for tagging objects with whichever tag I used previously?
Like, if I’m going through a floorplan and picking out certain objects, I have to mouseover to the tag panel, click the dropdown, and scroll to the tag. I know it doesn’t seem like much, but over dozens / hundreds of objects, it adds up.
If there was a way to assign “Last Used Tag” to a keyboard shortcut, that would greatly speed up the process. Is there such a method?
I don’t exactly answer your question but, I would say try this extension. 5D+ Auto Tag - Manage and import/export tags with textures.
Read the user manual and watch the YT tutorial. I think it’s the most powerful tag manipulation extension
If you want (like in Autocad) to repeat the last command, by typing the Spacebar, I recommend this extension Curic Recall Command
The Last Used Command thing isn’t really useful, because the repetitive process I was working with, was reshaping walls & wallcovering segments, and then tagging them as walls, sheetrock, furring strips, etc. Last Used would just repeat the last transformation, not the last tag
Hi, as @bmaxim has mentioned about 5D+ Auto Tag, my extension has feature to remember the last tag was used, also allow you to pin tags which be used the most often.
