Merging pdf files in Layout

Is there a way to merge separate Layout files into one document? I created separate files for construction documents and now the builder and printer are asking that I combine them into one file.

So far the copy and paste works for printing, but wondering if there is a way to make one working file of all. Otherwise, I guess I will have the individual working files and one print file as of course the layers don’t translate into a combined copy and paste format.

Thanks

Probably easiest and fastest to do that in a PDF editor like Acrobat. There are others, too.

Not sure why you put this in the SketchUp for Web category. I moved it to the LayOut category.

No, but you can combine your PDFs into one with a PDF editor.
On a Mac preview works great for this.
I imagine Acrobat and other software also will do the job.

I do things like that in my PDF editor. Often my clients are using adobe or some other free PDF viewer. A slightly upscale PDF program will allow combining or separating pages. Print options and the ability to mark up a PDF.

Dave, thanks… The category issue is just another level of confusion. I’m just trying to get a machine to understand what I am thinking, not sure what category that would line up with. Sorry, it got your response, very quickly and I do appreciate it.

I want one that knows what words I really want even when I spell them very badly.

And, old guy, feeling older, working on a single one and done project, not my life work, I would have to know what a PDF editor is. Thanks

Adobe Acrobat is probably the most well known. A google search for PDF editors would turn up others, too.
