Thank-you to all those who are sending in bug reports. Please keep sending those in, they are very helpful and I am able to track down and put out the little fires that much more quickly.
If you think you have encountered a bug, turn on the Ruby Console in SketchUp, then duplicate the behavior and then send me any error codes generated with other pertinent details. I will do my best to remedy all bugs that are detected and reported.
I donāt know if it matters, but I found the Ruby Console starts with SketchUp when I have enabled the āDebug Mode: ONā in the Floor Global Settings.
That is exactly what it should do, that is by design.
Prior to enabling this setting, I was not able to have the Ruby Console code created to copy and send to you.
You can manually turn on the Ruby Console without using this feature in the plugin. By turning off debug mode it does not disable the Ruby Console, however you would have to toggle it on from the developers menu.
Aah. Since I donāt know how to do that, I will just leave it enabled on the Floor Global Settings. ![]()

This feature is identical to the overhang feature included with steel decks and will allow the user to set an overhang and then selectively assign specific edges which do not have the overhang enabled.
Tutorial #20 explains how this feature works:
Version 1.1.4 - 02.09.2026
Version 1.1.5 - 02.23.2026
Version 1.1.6 - 02.24.2026
Version 1.1.7 - 02.25.2026
Version 1.1.7b - 02.25.2026
Previously if you set the ceiling inset parameter to zero the logic would try to apply this zero offset and would throw an error and then abort the draw process. I guess I automatically assumed a non-zero inset (ie. 3.5 or 5.5 inches) and did not test it with a zero inset, so I never caught this specific state.
Shout out to @ArtisanTony for finding this one for me. I probably would never have found out since Iām always using an inset when I turn on the gypsum, I donāt think Iāve ever used a zero inset.
Keep sending in those bug reports, it is greatly appreciated. This extension isnāt very old so I know there are still a few more small fires to put out, the trick of course is finding them all.
