My computer will not allow me to click in the measurements box to input the exact measurement of my line. Any tips? I am fairly new at this. Student in training. Thanks 
Don’t try to click in the box, start an action, let go of the mouse, type what you want and hit enter.
Whenever the measurements box background is white, it is ready for your input. Just type. Clicking in the box interrupts your operation.

Another way to tell when the box is ready for your input is to watch for the prompt and the numbers rolling in the box tracking the mouse’s movement. When you see the prompt and the numbers start to roll, let go of the mouse and start typing. Whatever you type will replace what’s in the box. Then hit Enter to execute the command.
