Hi! I use symbols a lot, specially greek characters like Ø or others like:
φ → phi (symbol)
<, > → less than , greater than
≤, ≥ → less than or equal to , greater than or equal to
™ → trademark
→ arrow, etc.
As far as I’m aware, there’s are no way to insert these symbols other than copy/paste them from somewhere else, or maybe creating a custom Scrapbook.
Maybe there is actually a way to do it and I don’t know it, but I drop this suggestion just in case.
Cheers

Are you familiar with alt codes?
Yes! I tried to use them in the text box but didn’t work unfortunately

Strange, for me it works in a text box and a label.

On Mac I can pull up the keyboard and by pressing modifiers I can see what keys correspond to it:
ø π ™ © Ω ß ç ≤ ≥
I am pretty sure I have used these in LayOut, but I would have to check.

Do alt codes work in other software you use? Are you using them correctly (Alt key and numerical keyboard)?
I have pinned the Character Map application to my Taskbar so I can always pick the ones I need and copy-paste them, or learn the Alt code to type them.
