I’d like to have my material’s textures with a dynamic link to a file.
- Therefore, whenever I’d work on the file the texture would be updated;
- The file could be very HighRes, while the texture displayed at the model would be low res for speed or high res for display;
- Renderers could automatically pick the very high res instead of the texture residing in Sketchup.
This would allow me to start a material from a simple color or bump map and continuously upgrade it while every work that is affected by that texture could be updated too.
The current method is static.
