Materials dissapearing

Hi,
I copied an elevation in order to make changes to the material. When I copied and pasted the material disappeared from the shower section. I have tried redrawing the box to close the shape but I am unable to. Help please. I am using Sketchup Pro 2024

I don’t know exactly what your question means, but there is no face in the shower section so you cannot assign a material there.

Something very strange is happening. I copied these elevations from another file and when I place them the face in the bottom elevation is there until I unselect them.

I’ve tried creating a face on the top elevation but it won’t work.
