any ideas on why this map image has reversed itself …or how i did accidenty it,s an imported image and even when i lokk at the other side it is reversed hhhh
How about sharing the SKP file with us so we can see what you’ve got?
thanks: I had to strip a lot of the model out but here is the problem …more out of interest than anything else as i can re-import the map if i need to :weird map.skp (2.8 MB)
I’m not certain how you did it. I just selected everything and flipped it along the red direction.

Your image is just reversed. You can also fix it quickly with the scale tool. Select the image, switch to scale tool and grab the center green handle in the direction you want to reverse, start to make the image smaller then let go of the mouse and type -1. This will create a new version of the image at the same scale but reversed.
Of course I see @DaveR is in there with the answer but this could be useful if you don’t want to flip the buildings too.
