well it’s more nuanced than that, they are not telling you not to update, it’s your choice really.

Sketchup 2026 and Mac OS 27

As Eric says, macOS 27 isn’t listed, and we generally don’t go back and certify older versions of SketchUp with new releases of macOS. My own Mac (at home) is on macOS 27. One thing I will look at is the message that Apple shows when opening older apps. It says that the app won’t work in the next version of macOS. I think that would mean macOS 28. When I’m at home later I will see which versions of SketchUp show that message.

Hard to say what will happen with SketchUp 2020 and MacOS27. You might be the first to try it.
