I launch sketchup (new install), when I start using application, mac completely shuts down.
Please provide more information about your computer. Your post and forum profile don’t make that clear. What model Mac is it? Is that Hynix graphics stuff what your system info shows if you click the Apple icon and choose about this Mac (I was not aware that Hynix makes graphics, but I’m pretty sure they don’t come standard in any Mac)?
sorry, asked for system info on post, assumed you had it. yes this is just what I found on system prefs
MacBook Pro 16in 2023
Apple M2 Pro/32Gb Mac14.4OS
this under Graphics/displays:
Apple M2 Pro:
Chipset Model: Apple M2 Pro
Type: GPU
Bus: Built-In
Total Number of Cores: 19
Vendor: Apple (0x106b)
Metal Support: Metal 3
That’s a hardware/driver issue. If you’re near an Apple Store, make an appointment with a genius and have them look at the kernel panic logs. Do you get the kernel panic screen (google the term “Sequoia kernel panic” and search for images), or does it just go poof?

Alternatively, do this: Use Apple Diagnostics to test your Mac - Apple Support
We had an M2 crash, but it was a crash, not a kernel panic.
