Lower version (2026.1.103 vs 2026.1.185) of Windows SDK online

When starting KetchUp today I received an update notification. Whenever this happens I check for a new version of the SDK online. To my surprise, the current version online is now older than the one I have downloaded in December of last year.

The current version online is 2026.1.103 while I have previously downloaded 2026.1.185.

Can anyone shed some light on this?

The C API uses it’s own version numbers. The current version online is supposed to be 14.1, see:

@CraigTrickett can you shed any light on this?

That’s true. However the downloadable zip files have had version numbers mostly aligning with the current SketchUp version. I would expect the current version to be named SDK_WIN_x64_2026-1-252.zip.

As far as I can tell the contents of the 2026.1.103 zipfile is identical to the 2026.1.185 file, except for the generation date at the bottom of every HTML file.

Trimble does not always release a new SDK (C API) version for every public release of the application. It depends upon whether the SKP file format changes, or if the C API has bug fixes specific to the version.

If you look at the latest application release notes, you’ll see that it is mainly GUI and crash fixes for the application.
