Lost a back surface. How to get it back?

I have found Sketchup to be the best compromise between highly complex (Fusion 360) and too simple. But it is quirky. Today I was modifying a panel, which is a rectangular panel, 2 mm thick, with various holes and lettering on it, which will be the face of an electronic instrument. When I got finished, I discovered that the back surface had gone away. I tried extruding the remaning surface to turn the panel back into a solid, but that didn’t work. Any idea how I can get my back surface back?

There might be easier ways but here is how i do; just draw lines passing through your circles as seen on gif (and delete parts you don’t need).
