`127.0.0.1` is the loopback address, commonly referred to as “localhost.” It’s used to establish an IP connection to the same machine or computer being used by the end-user, which is typically for testing and development purposes.

You can try:

(a) **Clear Cache and Cookies** : Sometimes, clearing the browser cache and cookies can resolve the issue. This can be done through the browser settings.

(b) **Delete Login Session File** :

- On **MS Windows** navigate to:
`%AppData%/SketchUp/SketchUp 2024/` and delete the `login_session.dat` file.
\* In versions 2023 and older the `login_session.dat` file is in the `SketchUp` subfolder of the path given above.

- On Apple MacOS navigate to:
`~/Library/Application Support/SketchUp 2024/` and find the `login_session.dat` file there or in the `SketchUp` subfolder, then delete it.

Change the version of SketchUp in the given paths for the version you are trying to log into. I wrote `2024` because your forum profile still says this version.

Then, restart SketchUp and try signing in again.
