What is the location? Maybe there isn’t any terrain data offered by Digital Globe for that area. We’ve see it before.

Try this: Search for Ski Time Square Dr, Steamboat Springs, CO. Do you get terrain there?
you’re first answer seems to be correct, It has to be a larger selection in a place where the digital globe is available.
I started using WMS and WMTS for finding terrain along with my Twilight for better terrain options only have to resize
