I have an issue since a few days. When I work on my LO file, part of the page, is taking some time to appear when I move with my mouse. See attached a video. (It is quite light on this video, but can be a bigger of the page…). Any idea of why this is happening ?

check the preferences, in performance section, you can activate or deactivate the draft mode. It makes layout wait for you to stop moving around to redraw the page.
if you turn it off, it’ll redraw the page as you move.
edit :
normal behaviour, layout updates the drawing live.
however, on big files / some computers, it doesn’t, there is a small lag like you’re showing.
the draft mode forces layout NOT to try to update as you move but to wait for you to stop moving around.
here, it could be your computer not managing to update on its own, then the draft mode could help performance-wise by making the behaviour more consistant, or you have draft mode turned on.

I use LO since a couple of years now and it is the first time it does this.
My file is not heavy at this point at all…
And I changed computer just before the summer so on the contrary until now everything seemed working quicker… (I have an M3 / 18 Go / Sonoma 14.5)
I will try the draft mode and let you know in 2 min !
that could also be due to the new engine (also in the preference panel / performance)
it makes layout use Metal instead of openGL, it’s still experimental. and things that are “normal” for metal might feel weird coming from opengl
OK I just checked and actually I was in draft mode - see capture 1.
I turned off draft mode - see capture 2 - and it seems to solve the problem !
Seems not logic to me ? Or is it ?
Draft mode is supposed to do that. It’s there to help when files are large or complex and the graphics card is weak. Draft mode is not enabled by default so you must have enabled it at some point without realizing you did so.
OK I guess I did when the issue started a few days ago…? without knowing it would make it worse in this case 
So hopefully, all will be fine again

I wouldn’t say it’s worse with Draft mode enabled. Just different.

you pressed K. draft mode comes with a shortcut, it’s easy to turn it on / off without realising
