… ( 9 days later ) …
The fix applied to using UI.inpubox only. It did not affect UI::HtmlDialog window objects.
I just tested release 2025.0.3 (build 25.0.660) and inputbox works correctly. So it was a regression bug that somehow wormed it’s way into the early 26 builds. (Most likely this was a bug in using the Qt libraries which has only [so far] been released on MS Windows platform.)
EDIT (08 JUN 2026): Be aware that in earlier versions when the inputbox had multiple fields, the focus was not always on the first field in the set. This was a long standing bug.
I’ve started getting a pop-up that says “Offline license check exceeded 7 days”. The license management pop-up confirms that the license was activated on 2026-05-22 and was last checked on 2026-05-26. As far as I am aware I am connected to the internet and running version 1.0.304_beta.23. I have tried running without windows firewall active incase the verification was being blocked in some way, but otherwise somewhat at a loss…
Thanks for the report, I’ll take a look at it. I’ve been trying to come up with a system that would allow you to work offline for at least 7 days, so that the license wouldn’t have to be checked for everyone, even in case of a possible internet outage for a day or two, because the license system I use actually runs non-stop. I haven’t gotten to that kind of report yet, I also have the license installed and it doesn’t pop up. I’ll take a look at it and let you know. If it stops working for you, let me know.
It has stopped working for me. Presumably because this check is failing?
Try manually deactivating and reactivating with the same number.
I will try to solve the problem gradually for now.
If you are already using the plugin and need it, I can generate a new number and reset the current one.
And thank you for your patience with testing. This is also important to debug, not just the plugin itself.
The new version for beta testers is available for download. ![]()
Completely redesigned user interface of working dialogs. For example, this is from our automated Level Markers system - which automatically sorts objects in the model by height and assigns them to the correct levels. Architects and designers can then easily turn off individual floors on a building, for example.
Just checking in again from the Sketchup Pro 2021 version. Everything seems to be working fine, I feel a little silly everyone on this chain moves so much faster than me! They’ve covered all the ground already…![]()
The only thing I’ve noticed is a slight time lag when the dialog is open vs when it’s closed. That may be the number of plugins I have open for testing and the age of my graphics cards etc. I’ve got two GeForce GTX 1080’s connected with SLI but I’m pretty sure Sketchup doesn’t take that into account. Regardless, not sure if that’s helpful but you had mentioned wanting this plugin to run as smoothly as if it were native so as not to halt workflow…
There will always be some delay when opening that dialog, that’s also the case for me on new graphics, because at that moment the state between the model and that window is being synchronized. After turning it off, it’s simply deactivated. So it will never be as instant as the native Sketchup windows.
Ah! I will use a shortcut to open it…thanks. Completely missed that I was so focused on the other stuff…
It is mainly important that the actual work with the open dialog for turning markers on and off is as close as possible to native tags in terms of speed. That was my main concern.
Through testing, we found that some beta testers were not happy with the behavior of the Update Current Scene button.
Therefore, the current version beta 25 has added the ability to customize the behavior of this button.
Full Update:
It updates everything you have checked in the native scene manager, i.e. Camera Location, Visible Tags, Style Fox, Shadow Setting and so on.
Markers Only:
It only writes the combination of enabled and disabled markers to the scene, it does not interfere with other scene settings.
@jure Once you’ve tested it, please write to me here to see how it works for you and whether it’s okay.

The quick tag feature is really special. Makes adding tags so much easier. Great idea.
@mark.perrah once again, everyone is beating me to the punch!
I was just going to comment on having a quick tag feature…one thing: is there a icon that switches from the generic cursor arrow to a tag to show if you’re clicking on objects to add them to markers (or a actual “marker” icon?). Just to differentiate…
FYI: There is a native Tag tool that uses a Tag cursor.
Ah, altho I am in SU 2021…I don’t think that icon is in that version. However, if my workflow using Liserok skips native tagging, would it be beneficial to have the icon change so I can click on any object/ component while having a marker selected and add that object/ component to the marker? Also, is there a benefit to using native tags first while using Liserok in conjunction?
@BHDesign You meen somethink like this? For native Tags?
