Lines not hidden when face is hidden

Hexagon A May 12 b.skp (175.7 KB)

Hello,

I am hiding most of the components of the hexagonal tube. When I hide the Hexagon Face, some of the lines of other sub components still remain.

Is that a problem? If so, how do I fix it?

It looks as though those edges were supposed to be in the Hexagon Face components. You can see that here:

You can cut/delete edges and then open the component (e.g., Trapezoid Face) and use Edit → Paste In Place to put them inside.

Or you could delete them and redraw them inside of your components.

Hello,

Thank you for answering. However, after reading your answer, I still had problems.

The lines in the centre of the hexagon, I found out, are part of A Perimeter Lower. If I hide A Perimeter Lower, those lines disappear. Also, if I try erasing those lines, A Perimeter Lower is erased.

If I erase the lines corresponding to the upper trapezoid, no problems appear to be created. The trapezoid is totally intact. So, I am assuming that I may as well erase them. What do you think?

If I just ignore the lines attached to A Perimeter Lower, will there be a problem?

Oops! Attached the wrong one.

Erase them.

Then inspect your components for missing faces. If any faces are missing, simply draw them back in.
