Here are the with alpha and without alpha versions of an export to TIFF. They are PNGs here because the forum doesn’t allow TIFF, I also had to optimize them, to reduce the size, but they look the same as the TIFFs.
The with alpha one doesn’t have much in the way of textures.
You’ll need to drag the with alpha one away from the browser to see what it’s like, given that it’s white pixels with alpha on a white page!

Yes, TIFF ‘with alpha’ will output TIFF with alpha and a separate TIFF with just alpha. It made the code simpler to handle JPGs and separate alpha images.
Strange that I didn’t notice there were two files being saved!
Whilst I have worked out the rendering problem, I am still having trouble with SketchUp crashing every time I do it. I get the rendered image as desired, but this shouldn’t be happening?
