Lidar scan

Good afternoon, let me start by saying I am new to this program and looking for help. My iPad A 16 does not have a LiDAR Scanner, my iPhone 16 pro max does, can and if so how can I use the LiDAR on my phone to use in SketchUp.

Use you iPhone with 3dscanner app or PolyCam and export your model to dae or usdz. That format can be imported into SketchUp (maybe usdz is only for SketchUp Pro)

There are a lot of apps for iPhone for 3D scanning, I use magic plan. I’ve used it for over 10 years, the 3D scanning feature was added a few years ago, you can also measure without having a lidar to make 2D plans of the room, its not as accurate as when you use lidar to scan but it helps for fast surveys.
