This behaviour is absolutely not as expected. No versions of layout prior to 2023 behaved in this way. How and why was this behaviour changed? It makes no sense and is killing our productivity.
I downloaded you file again and thinking about this, your issue was not the same as mine – I think.
I re-read what Adam had said and tried to understand it – and I think I do.
You probably don’t remember but how were the two scenes created in your sample Layout file?
I have not been experiencing my issue for a while now.
What is you workflow such that this issue you are experiencing is a problem?
