Is there any solution for this issue that Layout slows down and lags when you are working with it. My issue is not related to contents in my files since everythin is working smoothly again when i restart my computer.
Open Task Manager on Windows and look at CPU & memory usage - are they going up? Is the file size going up? The only bug we’ve addressed lately for that was a styles duplication if you cycled through a lot of styles in your viewports. That’s been fixed in 2025.0.2

I have been monitoring task manager and i can’t see anything there which could cause this lag. Also it is not related to styles duplication because it can happen in files without references to model.
For example I have been making images for my websites and had some reference images imported to layout. Then I drawed content during a day and just noticed that every action I made took layout some 1-2 seconds or more to “think”. It doesen’t sound that bad but it kills totally the workflow. So my first thought was it must be something with reference images maybe they are too large or something. But then I just restart my computer and lag is gone.
Actually i faced this issue about a year ago when I was doing some structural plans for some house with 2020 version. I had all content from model with stacked viewports and with wireframe and vector graphics so it was already not very optimal solution for performance. But then I figured out first time that layout worked well enough when I started working with it and went unbearable sometimes only after half an hour work. Then I figured out this computer restart method to keep work going on.
I also tested same project with 2025 version and it works much better. But I haven’t really worked long with file to test properly.
In 2020 version lag came more often and for shorter period of working. In 2025 version it is much more random and I think I have to keep gathering more information about when it happens more often.
I was just curious to know has someone else experienced this performance issue with layout and what could cause this. It can also be something with my hardware but I just haven’t spotted yet what?
So I have inspected more of this problem and I think it is highly related to something with my PC. I tried same layout file today with my PC and Laptop and it simpy is not happening at all with laptop.
If someone still knows what could cause this i would be happy to know before I start making clean install to my Windows 
Which machine has the GTX 970 graphics card? That decade-old card might be the bottleneck in your system.

Yes I know it is old, but I don’t think that my GPU performance would be the bottleneck in this since my laptop has 940MX which is a lot worse but layout worked perfectly fine with my file.
If I compare performance of SketchUp with my PC and Laptop then PC runs well but Laptop is in pain with large models.
But like i said in earlier post it must be something with my system and layout. Maybe my Windows would like to be reinstalled since it is almost as old as my GPU
