Many times when using Layout and expanding the Sketchup Model menu the menu gets stuck in the corner and I can’t use the menu to access or relink files.
My usual fix is to close the file and reopen which seems to fix it until it happens again. This happens on both my laptop and desktop and has been happening for a while.
Wondering if there is a fix for this? I can share the file but it won’t show the issue now that I have closed/reopened it.

Hi DNoelOkane, we are working on improving the UI for Mac specifically around our floating dialogs so be looking for that in a future release. In the mean time, we should be preserving the state (position and size) of the dialogs when you have set them and then LayOut is closed down.
Does docking the SketchUp Model inspector with another dialog prevent this from occuring?
Are you on multiple monitors?

Not using multiple monitors. Docking does not prevent. The issue occurs when I expand the SketchUp Model box when it is docked and at the top of the stack. The SU box will jump off screen upper right corner and usually happens when the stock of box bars are near that upper right corner.
Also how do you preserve the state (position and size) of the dialogs? Searched for an answer but couldn’t find one.

Strange.. can’t say that I have seen this behavior before.
We save toolbar state when you close down LayOut or SketchUp.
One thing you can do if you find yourself in the state where you loose the Dialog is you can restore the default state buy going to Window-> Arrange Panels. At least this way you would not need to close down LayOut.
