A simple request here: When saving a template, it would be great to have a proper explorer/finder window instead of a very limited window so we can manage the file that we save. With such a window, I could delete, rename, save instead. Right now, my only option is to save! and I need to open the source template folder separatly to do everything else. Not really practical, mostly when I update my template on a daily basis.

Yes this workflow is quirky.

You (currently) must first have added a new template folder via:
Edit > Preferences… > Folders > + (above the Templates list)

This is not what long-time Windows users expect. We would expect a “New Folder” button at the very least in the “Save As Template…” dialog box.
