I’m in trouble with Layout saving a file. It takes around 20 minutes to save the file I’m working on. I’m working with LO for years now and it’s the first time it takes so much time to save.
the file is only around 100 Mo including 1 heavy model of 70 Mo and a dozen of little models. I’m used to that, LO usually supports it, even with much more complex projects.
I’ve suppressed all the new stuff about materials coming up with SU2025 (metal effect, rugosity…), environment from SU files. it didn’t work.
I opened the file in LO2024 and re-save it in less than a minute.
I opened the new file in LO2025 and re-saved it as quicly as LO2024.
so, it seems that in the future I will use this trick to repare LO2025 files if they goes wrong.
I was making experience and found the trick while writing. it’s no longer a problem for me but I’m still posting because it can help some others.
in fact, it could be still a problem if it appears again.
