My drawings updates are saved and will do a Model Update when in layout. Even have inserted the latest drawing and relink - LAYOUT is not able to change scenes. This is a recent issue.
I don’t know if it is my computer [Apple MACbook Pro] or the software but crashing more than ever has before in past.
Can you share the LayOut file so we can see exactly what you have going on?
Are you still using SketchUp/LayOut 2018 as indicated in your profile?
typically the sort of thing you report happens because the user has made changes to the scene in LayOut and those override the scene properties set in SketchUp.
Using 2020 actually. I work between two computers [both MacBook Pros but one too old for the newer SketchUp Versions] I have had so many issues since switching to the new MacBook Pro that I’m not sure it isn’t the computer and not the software. It locks up when bringing things in from SketchUp warehouse and Podium library too.
That might just be that your file is getting bloated. You could try purging unused stuff via Model Info>Statistics.
